The Housing Authority of the City of Hattiesburg (HACH) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.Please note: There are currently 200 people on the Public Housing waiting list. It can take years to reach the top of this waiting list.The HACH offers two Public Housing communities with 296 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, you must call the HACH to schedule an appointment for an application interview, at 601-582-9955, during normal office hours.Be sure to have these documents with you at the time of the interview: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and Photo IDs for all adult household members.The HACH does have a preference for working families.For more information the HACH can be reached by calling (601) 583-1881, during normal office hours.

Reasonable Accommodation

Applicants who need help completing the application due to disability can make a reasonable accommodation request to the housing authority via (601)583-1881.
