The Meridian Housing Authority (MHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The MHA offers twelve Public Housing communities with 1,214 units for families and senior/disabled individuals. For a complete list of the communities the MHA offers, please follow this link.To apply, visit the MHA to pick up an application, located at 2305 D St., Meridian, MS, between the hours of 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, between the hours of 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, on Wednesdays and Fridays.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.More information can be found by visiting the MHA website at http://www.meridianhousing.net, or they can be reached by calling 601-693-2800, during normal office hours.
