The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Cottonwood (HRAC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HRAC offers one Public Housing community with 39 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply: 

  1. Visit the HRAC to pick up a pre-application, located at 425 Prairie Street W, Cottonwood, MN 56229, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (507) 423-6495 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.No documents are needed at this time.The HRAC does have a preference for applicants who live and/or work in Cottonwood.For more information, the HRAC can be reached by calling (507) 423-6495 during normal office hours.

Reasonable Accommodation
