The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Austin (HRAA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HRAA offers three Public Housing communities with 361 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply: 

  1. Visit the HRAA to pick up a pre-application, located at 308 2nd Avenue NE, Austin, MN 55912, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (507) 433-1866 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: A copy of Social Security cards, ID/immigration card for all adult household members.Preferences for: Elderly individuals.For more information, visit the HRAA website, or call the office at (507) 433-1866.

Reasonable Accommodation
