The Wayne Housing Commission (WHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled households.

The WHA offers 36 one bedroom units dedicated to seniors, 18 one bedroom units for families, 10 two bedroom units for families, 10 three bedroom units for families, and 2 four bedroom units for families.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Download and print the application online.
  2. Pick up an application at the WHA office, located at 3355 S. Wayne Rd, Wayne, MI 48184.

Once the application has been completed, it can be:

  1. Mailed or hand delivered to the address above.
  2. Faxed to (734) 722-5052. 

The waiting time is approximately five years.
