The Kingsford Housing Commission (KHC) is currently accepting Pubic Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The KHC offers one Public Housing community with 69 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the KHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 1025 Woodward Ave., Kingsford, MI 49802 during normal office hours.2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (906) 774-2771 during normal office hours.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include copies of these documents with the pre-application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The KHC does have a preference for: Local residents, and homeless individuals.For more information, the KHC can be reached by calling (906) 774-2771 during normal office hours.
