The Highland Park Housing Commission (HPHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The family Public Housing waiting list is currently closed.The HPHC offers three Public Housing communities with 209 units ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HPHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 13725 John R Street, Highland Park, MI 48203, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm EDT, Monday-Friday.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HPHC does have a preference: Homeless, veteran, or disabled.For more information, call the HPHC office at (313) 868-4500, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
