The Alma Housing Commission (AHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applciations for families and senior/disabled individuals.The AHC offers one Public Housing community with 94 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply: 1. Visit the AHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 400 E. Warwick Dr., Alma, MI 48801; from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:30 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.2. Download the pre-application here, then print and complete.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include copies of documentation for any preferences that are being claimed.The AHC does have a preference for: Applicants that live and/or work in Alma, veteran, working family, involuntarily displaced, substandard housing, rent burden.More information can be found by visiting the AHC website, or by calling (989) 463-4200 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:30 until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
