Closed: North Adams Housing Authority Section 8 Voucher

The North Adams Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed.

It last opened up on July 15, 2014.  Application was required to be made in person at the housing authority offices.

The housing authority has a local residency preference that gives waiting list preference to those who currently live or work in the City of North Adams.  The housing authority also has a preference for homeless persons or those at risk of becoming homeless.

After the applications were sorted by preference, they were selected in random order for addition to the waiting list.  Applying early in the day had no effect on the order in which applicants were added to the waiting list.
