The Frostburg Housing Authority (FHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior disabled individuals.The FHA offers one apartment community for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are three ways to apply for public housing:1. Visit the FHA to pick up an application, located at 101 Meshach Frost Village, Frostburg, MD 21532, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.2. Download an application here, then print and complete.3. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 301-689-9700 during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above, or faxed to 301-689-5125.This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, victim of domestic violence, living in substandard living conditions, living and/or working in Frostburg, enrolled in an educational or job training program, or a veteran.More information can be found by visiting the FHA website at http://www.frostburghousingauthority.com/, or by calling 301-689-9700, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
