The Housing Authority of Lancaster (HAL) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAL offers one Public Housing community with 62 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 5 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAL office to pick up a pre-application, located at 109 Kinnaird Ave, Lancaster, KY 40444, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HAL does have a preference for: Elderly, disabled, homeless, live and/or work in Lancaster, or employed.For more information, call the HAL office at (859) 792-3813, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
