Open: Housing Authority of Floyd County Section 8 Voucher

The Housing Authority of Floyd County (HAFC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.

To apply, visit the HAFC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 57 John M Stumbo Dr., Martin, KY 41649, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm ET, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday; and from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday; and from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, TANF or food stamps award letter (if applicable), SSI or Social Security statement (if applicable), bank statements, marriage papers (if applicable), divorce decree (if applicable), and proof of all income. All adult household members must be present when returning the pre-application.

The HAFC does not have a preference. 

Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
