The Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, since at least April, 2019, until further notice.

To apply, complete the online application.

There are no preferences.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.

The Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP) Rental Properties waiting list is currently open, since at least April, 2019, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.

Closed: Tenant Based Rental Assistance Project-Based

The Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP) Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) waiting list is currently closed. It was last open from February until April, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to SEK-CAP, "Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) is a rental subsidy program designed to assist homeless individuals and families." Applicants must have a referral and a Homeless Certification completed by a local homeless service provider to be eligible.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

There were no preferences.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by vulnerability as determined by an assessment completed by a local service provider.
