The Iowa City Housing Authority (ICHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of October, 2018, until July 1, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences: Elderly, Disabled, Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Families with Children, Displaced by Government Action, Displaced by Natural Disaster.

Selection Process

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.

The Iowa City Housing Authority (ICHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least October, 2018, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

Once the application has been submitted, be sure to write down the reference number for future reference.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Displaced by government action, displaced by natural disaster in the State of Iowa, families with children who live in the ICHA jurisdiction, elderly or disabled households who live in the ICHA jurisdiction, households with two or more people and no children who live in the ICHA jurisdiction, elderly or disabled households who do not live in the ICHA jurisdiction, families with children who do not live in the ICHA jurisdiction, households with two or more people and no children who do not live in the ICHA jurisdiction.
