The Lafayette Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The LHA last accepted applications for this waiting list on the first Wednesday of each month, from the earliest confirmed date of January, 2019, until March 30, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live or Work Locally, Elderly, Disabled, Working/Employed, Victims of Domestic Violence, Displaced by Government Action, Displaced by Natural Disaster, and Referred by Local Assistance Program.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
