The Knox County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.This housing authority offers three communities with 74 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply for public housing you must visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 11 Powell St., Bicknell, IN, Monday-Friday during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. No documents are needed at this time.This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: veteran, elderly, disabled, victim of domestic violence live and/or work in Knox County, or substandard living conditions.For more information the housing authority can be reached by calling 812-735-2006, Monday-Friday during normal office hours.
