The Columbus Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.This housing authority offers four communities for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to obtain an application:1. Request to have one mailed to you by calling 812-378-0005, during normal office hours.2. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 799 McClure Rd., Columbus, IN 47201, during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above, or it can be faxed to 812-376-0194.This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: living and/or working in Columbus, or a veteran.More information can be found by visiting the housing authority website at http://www.columbushome.net/, or they can be reached with any questions you may have by calling 812-378-0005, during normal office hours.
