  • Arthur homes is a new construction development in Arthur, Illinois with 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units available.
  • Williams Street Townhomes is a new construction  development in Dwight, Illinois with 2 and 3 bedroom units available.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Applicants who currently live, work or have been hired to work in the county of the development (Clinton, Livingston, or Douglas)
  • Veteran

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

    A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Sangamon County
  • Veterans Preference
    A Veterans preference is available to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head is a veteran or survivor of a veteran who actively served in a branch of the U.S. Armed Services. Persons dishonorably discharged do not qualify for this preference. A Veteran is defined as a person who served in the active military service of the U.S. at least four (4) months. Closed: Multi-County, Illinois Section 8 Voucher

The Menard County Housing Authority (MCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from February 15, 2021, until March 1, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • A residency preference will be given to applicants who currently live, work or have been hired to work in any county in our jurisdiction. A Veteran’s preference will also be applied for those who qualify

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
