  • Hale Laulima, Kau‘iokalani, Maili I & II, Nanakuli Homes, Waimaha-Sunflower, and Waipahu I & II.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

500 selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

Closed: State-Aided Elderly Public Housing Senior

The Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA) last accepted State-Aided Elderly Public Housing waiting list applications for Studio and 1-Bedroom apartments in Urban Honolulu (Hale Po'ai or Halia Hale), Central Oahu/Wahiawa (Laiola), Central Oahu/Waipahu (Kamalu - Ho'olulu) from November 7, 2023, until November 21, 2023. This waiting list was last open in March, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waiting list was open, applicants were required to pick up an application from the management offices. Applications were available for pick up on Tuesday, November 07, 2023, Wednesday, November 08, 2023 and Thursday, November 09, 2023.

Once the application was completed, it was returned to the management office, address mentioned above. Completed applications were returned by November 21, 2023.

There were no preferences.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
