The Lee County Housing Authority (LCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The LCHA offers one Public Housing community with 98 units, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the LCHA to submit an application in person, located at 101 Turnkey Circle, Leesburg, GA, between the hours of 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, on Wednesdays only.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The LCHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: displaced due to fire, disaster, or government action, participating in and completing the strive to thrive initiative or similar program, stable work history, elderly, disabled, homeless, or veteran.More information can be found by visiting the LCHA website, or by calling 912-434-4500 during normal office hours.
