The Housing Authority of the City of Mount Vernon (HACMV) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACMV offers one Public Housing community with 36 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the HACMV to pick up an application, located at 101 West Underwood Drive, Mount Vernon, GA 30445 during normal office hours.2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling 912-583-2396 during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, the HACMV can be reached by calling 912-583-2396 during normal office hours.
