The Housing Authority of Newnan (HAN) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom apartments every Tuesday from August 15, 2023 at 10:00 am, until 2:00 pm ET, until further notice.

To apply while the waitlist is open, complete an application in person at the HAN office, located at 48 Ball St, Newnan, GA 30263, every Tuesday from 10:00 am, until 2:00 pm.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The Housing Authority of Newnan (HAN) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from February 24, 2021 until February 25, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Live or work in Coweta County and have a member of the household who is disabled and between the ages of 18 and 61.

40 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
