Closed: Glynn County, Georgia Section 8 Voucher

The Brunswick Housing Authority (BHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on July 7, 2023. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the BHA, applications were accepted from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in person and from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm online only.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. In person applications were accepted at the BHA main office.
2. Complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Terminated from its HCV program due to insufficient program funding.
• Victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking who have either been referred by a partnering service agency or consortia or is seeking an emergency transfer under VAWA from the PHA’s public housing program or other covered housing program operated by the PHA. The applicant must certify that the abuser will not reside with the applicant unless the PHA gives prior written approval.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.

Closed: Brunswick Housing Authority Public Housing

The Brunswick Housing Authority (BHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is closed.

The BHA is accepting applications for this waiting list from February 22, 2021, until further notice.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be:

• Hand delivered to the Brunswick Housing Authority Central Office.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list.
