Apalachicola Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The waiting list for public housing is approximately three to four years.This housing authority offers one apartment community with 54 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply for public housing:1. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 850-653-9304, during normal office hours.2. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 141 15th St., Apalachicola, FL 32320, during normal office hours, Monday-Friday.Once the application has been completed it can mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include copies of these items with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information the housing authority can be reached by calling 850-653-9304, during normal office hours.
