The Windsor Housing Authority (WHA) is accepting Elderly and Disabled Housing waiting list applications for Millbrook Village Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of November 29, 2023, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following property:

  • Millbrook Village - Located at 35 Mack St, Windsor, CT 06095. Offering efficiencies and 1-bedroom units.

There are three ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Call 860-285-8090 to request an application by mail.
  3. Pick up an application at the WHA office, located at 156 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor, CT 06095.

Once the paper application was completed, it must be either:

  1. Turned in to the WHA office, located at the address mentioned above.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

The Windsor Housing Authority (WHA) is accepting Near-Elderly (55+) waiting list applications for apartments at Fitch Court Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of November 29, 2023, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following property:

  • Fitch Court Apartments are located at 156 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, Connecticut, 06095. Offering Studio, 1 and 2-bedroom units.

Please note: According to the WHA, "All occupants must be at least 55 years of age or older and have a minimum monthly income of $1764.00 per month."

There are three ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Call the WHA at (860) 285-8090 to request an application be mailed.
  3. Pick up an application at the WHA office, located at 156 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor, CT 06095, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Monday- Thursday.

Once the paper application was completed, it must be either:

  1. Turned in to the WHA office, located at the address mentioned above.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

Closed: Windsor, Connecticut Section 8 Voucher

The Windsor Housing Authority (WHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from April 19, 2021, until April 22, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Windsor, CT is about 5 miles north of Hartford, CT.

There were five ways to apply during the opening period: 

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Print the application available on the WHA website.
  3. Print the application available on the United Way of Connecticut web page.
  4. Pick up an application in the April 16, 2021 edition of The Windsor Journal.
  5. Pick up an application in the April 18, 2021 edition of the Hartford Courant.

Once the paper application was completed, it must have been postmarked between April 19, 2021 and April 22, 2021; and mailed to the WHA.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

Applicants placed on the waiting list will be notified by mail by August 13, 2021.

The Windsor Housing Authority (WHA) waiting list for Project-Based Voucher apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from June 6, 2016, until June 8, 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period: 

  1. Complete the online application available on the HATW website.
  2. Download and print the application available on cthcvp.org.
  3. Obtain an application from the June 4, 2016 issue of the Hartford Courant.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must have been mailed to the WHA. Only applications postmarked between June 6, 2016 and June 8, 2016 were accepted.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

50 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

Applicants placed on the waiting list will be notified by mail by July 8, 2016.

The Windsor Housing Authority (WHA) Elderly and Disabled Housing waiting list for apartments at Shad Run Terrace is currently closed. It is not known when this waiting list was last open, or when it will reopen.

Please note: According to the HATW, "There are two waiting lists which cover Shad Run Terrace. If you are in need of an ADA handicapped accessible unit you may apply for the SRT handicapped waiting list.
