Open: Family Scattered Site Public Housing

The Vernon Housing Authority (VHA) Family Scattered Site Public Housing waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least August, 2019, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Open and print the application online. Select the "Public Housing Application" link.
  2. Email the Leasing Office at to request an application. Contact information for the Leasing Coordinator can be found here.

After completing the application, it must be either:

  1. Mailed to 114 Fraklin Park West, PO Box 963, Vernon, CT 06066.
  2. Dropped off after calling the VHA to schedule a drop off appointment.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The VHA Elderly (62+)/Disabled Public Housing program has Efficiency and 1-Bedroom units.
