Closed: Milford, Connecticut Section 8 Voucher

The Milford Redevelopment and Housing Partnership (MRHP) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The MRHP last accepted Section 8 HCV applications for this waiting list from October 4, 2021, until October 6, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. print the paper application.
  2. Pick up an application from the MRHP, and at many Milford community service agencies.

Once the application was completed, it was mailed to the MRHP.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

  • 1 Person $36,050 | 5 Persons $55,600
  • 2 Persons $41,200 | 6 Persons $59,700
  • 3 Persons $46,350 | 7 Persons $63,800
  • 4 Persons $51,450 | 8 Persons $67,950

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

The Milford Redevelopment and Housing Partnership (MRHP) waiting list for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher apartments is closed.

The MRHP last accepted Section 8 PBV applications for this waiting list from October 4, 2021, until October 6, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the MRHP public notice, "MRHP has a Project-Based housing community, named Catherine McKeen Village, located in Milford, which has studio and one-bedroom apartments for seniors 62 years of age or older and/or disabled adult residents. Applicants selected through this lottery who are 62 years of age or older and/or disabled adult residents will also be considered for this Project-Based housing community."

Closed: Milford Redevelopment and Housing Partnership Senior / Disabled Public Housing

The Milford Redevelopment and Housing Partnership (MRHP) Senior/Disabled Public Housing waiting list is currently closed. The waiting list for Efficiencies and 1-Bedroom units was last open for one month from February until March, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Complete the application that was be printed in the "New Haven Register", "Connecticut Post" and the "Milford Mirror" newspapers.
  2. Pick up an application at the MRHP office.
  3. Pick up an application at the Milford Senior Center.

Once the paper application was been completed, it must be mailed to MRHP and postmarked no later than Thursday, March 7, 2019.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

350 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Applications will be randomly drawn on on March 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm, in the MRHP office Community Room at 75 DeMaio Drive, and numbered sequentially. Applicants do not need to be present.
