Closed: Farmington, Connecticut Section 8 Voucher

The Farmington Housing Authority (FHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for four days in February 2017, and before that in 2004. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Download and print the application online.
  2. Call to request an application be mailed or emailed to you.
  3. Pick up an application.

Once the application has been completed, it must have been mailed to:

Applications must have been postmarked between February 21, 2017 and February 24, 2017. Applications postmarked outside of those dates were not accepted. Only one application per household was accepted.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Live and/or work in Farmington or Unionville, CT. Further information about preferences can be found here.

75 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences. Persons placed on the waiting list will receive a letter by March 15, 2017. Applicants who do not receive a letter by March 15, 2017 were not placed on the waiting list.
