Open: Fall River Apartments Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

The Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for Fall River Apartments is currently open

The LHA is accepting applications for this waiting list from the earliest confirmed date of October 28, 2022, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, print the paper application here.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

  1. Emailed to Ihainfo@longmontcolorado.gov
  2. Mailed to the Longmont Housing Authority, 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, CO 80501.
  3. Faxed to (303) 682-2899
  4. Dropped off in person to the LHA office, address mentioned above, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MT.

This wait list has the following preferences:

  • Homeless
  • Single persons that are elderly, displaced, homeless or a person with disabilities.
  • Victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.

The Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) is accepting Low Income Housing Tax Credit waiting list applications for Aspen Meadows Neighborhood from April 12, 2023, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Print the paper application.
  2. In person at the LHA Main Office, 1228 Main Street, Longmont, CO during regular office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). 

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

  1. Dropped off at the LHA, address mentioned above.

Open: Hearthstone and Lodge at Hover Crossing Elderly Supported Housing Senior

The Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) is accepting Section 202/PRAC Elderly Supported Housing waiting list applications for Hearthstone and Lodge at Hover Crossing from April 12, 2023 at 9:00 am, until further notice.

Please note: According to the LHA, applicants "must meet the following additional eligibility factors:

  • Elderly households of no more than two persons with at least one person who is 62 years of age or older at the time of initial occupancy
  • A single individual who is 62 years of age or older
  • Household annual income may not exceed 50% of the area median income"

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Print the paper application in English here and in Spanish here.
  2. In person at the LHA Main Office, 1228 Main Street, Longmont, CO during regular office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). 

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

  1. Dropped off at the LHA, address mentioned above.

The Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The LHA last accepted applications for this waiting list for one day only on September 26, 2022.There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the application was completed, it was submitted in person.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • The LHA will offer a preference to any household that has been terminated from the LHA’s HCV program due to insufficient program funding. 
  • Families who have been involuntarily displaced due to government actions.
  • Families that reside in the City of Longmont or includes a family member who works or has been notified that they are hired to work in Longmont.

250 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

  • Aspen Meadows Neighborhood, had 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom townhomes.
  • Crisman Apartments, had 0-Bedroom units.

Please note: according to the LHA, "All applicants placed on the waiting list will be removed every 6 months and the waiting list will be reopened for a new lottery."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

  1. Postmarked between September 22, 2021 and September 23, 2021 and mailed to the Longmont Housing Authority.
  2. Emailed to the LHA.
  3. Dropped off in person to the LHA office.
