As of July 2017, the Housing Authority of the County of Montezuma (HACM) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.

To apply:

  • Download and print the application online.
  • Visit the HACM to pick up an application, located at 37 N. Madison, Cortez, CO 81321.
  • Request an application be mailed by calling (970) 565-3831.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include social security cards, birth certificates, and photo IDs of each adult household member.

This waiting list has the following preferences: veteran, disabled, or a victim of domestic violence.
