Open: Mesa County, Colorado Section 8 Voucher

The Grand Junction Housing Authority (GJHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of February 23, 2024, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Print the paper application.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the GJHA office at 8 Foresight, Grand Junction, CO 81505.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

  • Involuntarily displaced by government action
  • TBRA-qualified families
  • Disabled, elderly (62+), families with persons with disabilities, single parent with dependent children under 6 years old and work 20 hours per week, families with dependent children over 6 years old and working 30 hours a week living, working, attending school in Mesa County.
  • Families with dependant children, not working the minimum # of number of hours per week living, working in Mesa County.
  • Families with no dependent children, SIngles and all others living outside Mesa County.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application has been received, by order of preferences.

The Grand Junction Housing Authority (GJHA) is accepting Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 2 and 3-Bedroom waiting list applications for Capital Terrace Apartments and Courtyard Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of March 5, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following properties:

  • Capital Terrace Apartments - located at 1104 Bookcliff Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Offering 2 and 3-Bedroom units.
  • Courtyard Apartments - located in 2910 Bunting Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81504. Offering 2 and 3-Bedroom units.

To apply while the waitlist is open,
