Open: Plumas County Community Development Commission & Housing Authority Section 8 Voucher

The Plumas County Community Development Commission & Housing Authority (PCCDCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. This waiting list opened on April 30, 2014 and is open indefinitely.

There are two ways to apply:

  1. Download and print the pre-application online.
  2. Call the PCCDCHA office at (530) 283-2466, Ext. 112 to request a pre-application be mailed to you.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be mailed to the PCCDCHA at P.O. Box 319, Quincy, CA 95971. Faxed pre-applications will not be accepted.

The following preference have been identified: Elderly (62+); disabled; working or hired to work in Plumas, Lassen, Sierra or Tehama Counties; working or hired to work outside Plumas, Lassen, Sierra or Tehama Counties; live in Plumas, Lassen, Sierra or Tehama Counties; displaced by private or public action; veteran or serviceman.

Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority.

Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time of the pre-application submission, by order of preferences.

The Plumas County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled individuals.This housing authority manages public housing for four counties:  Plumas, Lassen, Tehama, and Sierra. 1.
