The City of Inglewood Housing Authority (CIHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from July 13, 2020, until July 20, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. No paper applications were given or accepted.

There are preferences, but they have not yet been confirmed.

5,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

Closed: Beach Terrace Apartments Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

The City of Inglewood Housing Authority (CIHA) Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for apartments at Beach Terrace Apartments is closed.

The CIHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from September 19, 2022, until September 20, 2022, or until a sufficient number of applications was received.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

  • 1 Person $41,700
  • 2 Persons $47,650
  • 3 Persons $53,600
  • 4 Persons $59,550

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • IHA Section 8 Voucher Holders.
  • Active IHA Section 8 waiting list applicants.
  • Active Inglewood U.S. Veterans that hold a Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing Voucher.
  • Inglewood residents.

Please note: According to the CIHA public notice, "when the PHA has particular preferences or funding criteria that require a specific category of family, the PHA may elect to continue to accept applications from these applicants while closing the waiting list to others."

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

  • 2 Persons $80,750 | 4 Persons $100,900

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Displaced by the activities of the City of Inglewood
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Person aged 62+ years and older

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
