The City of Pasadena Housing Department (COPHD) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, 2023, until June 15, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

  • 1 Person $41,700 | 5 Persons $64,350
  • 2 Persons $47,650 | 6 Persons $69,100
  • 3 Persons $53,600 | 7 Person $73,850
  • 4 Persons $59,550 |

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • People who live or work in the City of Pasadena
  • Veterans
  • People with disabilities
  • People experiencing homelessness

7,500 selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preference.
