Open: Valhalla Pacific Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

The City of Crescent City Housing Authority (CCHA) Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list for 2-Bedroom apartments at Valhalla Pacific is currently open.

The CCHA is accepting applications for this waiting list from February 1, 2023, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, Print the paper application.

Once the paper application is complete, it must be either:

  1. Mailed to the CCHA office, located at 23 H Street, Crescent City, CA 95531.
  2. Hand delivered to CCHA office, located at address mentioned above, from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm PST.

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:

  • 1 Person $27,300 | 5 Persons $42,100

  • 2 Persons $31,200 | 6 Persons $45,200

  • 3 Persons $35,100 | 7 Person $48,300

  • 4 Persons $38,950 | 8 Persons $51,450

This waiting list has the following preferences: Local Preference, Head of Household and/or spouse that is living or working in Del Norte County.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.

After one year of occupancy, a Project-Based Voucher tenant may request to be placed on a waiting list to receive the next available Housing Choice Voucher or similar tenant-based rental assistance.

Open: The Legacy, Limited Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

The City of Crescent City Housing Authority (CCHA) is accepting Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for The Legacy Apartments from June 3, 2024, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list is for the following property:

  • The Legacy - located at 665 L Street in Crescent City, Del Norte County, California.

Please note: According to the CCHA "Applicants must be considered extremely low income, with a household income not exceeding 30% of the Area Median Income and must be experiencing homelessness or imminent homelessness as defined in Part 578.3 of Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Applicants must be referred for placement on The Legacy PBV waiting list. Referrals will be accepted from the NorCal Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry System"
