  • Displaced due to a natural disaster
  • Elderly (62+) or disabled
  • working and have you been working for the past 60 days

Please note: The Metropolitan Housing Alliance covers the City of Little Rock, AR.
The Metropolitan Housing Alliance (MHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last opened in August 2015. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.



There were two ways to apply in 2015:

  1. General public applicants were required to complete the online pre-application that was available on the MHA website. No pre-applications were accepted in person, by mail, or by fax.

  2. Disabled applicants were required to visit the MHA office on August 25, 2015.

The following preferences were identified: Working, Social Security income, enrolled in job training program.


Qualified applicants will be placed by random lottery, by order of preferences.
